Modern Roofing

We needed to have our 30 year old roof shingles replaced in preparation for a solar installation. Jay, from Modern Roofing, responded promptly and worked up a detailed proposal. I had received two other estimates and Modern's was the most detailed proposal and was also the best price. I asked Jay if he could move us up sooner on the schedule because of our planned solar work. He was very accommodating and was able to move us forward by three weeks. The crew was amazing and the entire 6,100 square foot roof was completed in only two days. They did a great job protecting our landscaping plants and the clean up was thorough. We were extremely pleased with the professionalism and result. The roof looks great. I would highly recommend Modern Roofing.

We had noticed some mold forming in the corner of our ceiling and traced it back to it being a roofing issue. I did some research and through word of mouth I was directed to Modern Roofing and scheduled an appointment asap. That's when I met Jay, he came over and thoroughly explained the situation and how him and crew will resolve it. Also finding out at the same time he could replace my bow window with a new style. Had a wonderful experience with Modern Roofing. Jay was professional and easy to communicate with. His team arrived on time and were thorough with clean up. We had a few minor issues with screen and grill cover damage that Jay personally came out to fix after the project was done. Would highly recommend!

When the decision was made to get a new roof, we looked for a roofer that met the following: a price we could afford, an honest assessment of the needs of our roof, and meeting promises made. New/replacement roof and gutters were needed on our house in Newington. After getting quotes and talking to several roofing companies we decided to go with Modern Roofing. Jay and Jeremy gave very personalized service, were local and kept an eye on the process all along the way. In addition, Andre did a great job on the gutters! He made sure we chose the right color and the new gutters came out great! The team doing the roofing work did a great job, finished the roof in one day, and cleaned up perfectly.
