Plimpton & Hills Torrington

This is a great plumbing supply house, as long as you don’t get the young guy with the goatee. I can’t believe he still works there. He is the most arrogant jerk in earth. I’ve run into him a couple times. His standard answer is “you need to hire a plumber” or “your not a plumber so I don’t have time for this.” I’ve gone in with a couple simple problems over the years. Just need their help to figure something out. I went in Friday with just a couple simple questions about well pumps. My shallow well pump on my old house was giving me trouble. Instead of listening and trying to help He was rude obnoxious, arrogant and insulting and was the biggest jerk! Said he would not help me because I wasn’t a plumber. Told me to hire a plumber. Red head lazy bum at parts counter couldnt search the numbers on my broken pulley. Idk much about hvac but a quick google in the PH parking lot gave me what I needed and amazon it is, guess I’m not shopping local.

Way overpriced on air filter my serviceman needed for my annual furnace maintenance. Even he was shocked by the cost. Told me to consider ordering online.

Very nice friendly staff really made my day today. Trying to make sure I was doing an order correctly and they helped me every step of the way. To all the employees of p&h in torrington especially Jason they do a tremendous job always are pleasant and willing to help . The amount of inventory always amazes me and if by chance they don't have a part it's there first thing the next morning .
