This is a really nice store! Everyone is welcoming and helpful, and the store is well-stocked and neat as a pin. In addition to the more common items one would find in a hardware store, this store has lots of interesting specialty items as well! And unlike some big box stores, where you might wait in line, I've never had to wait to check out, so I can get in and get out quickly. Great store.

Don't waste your time looking for items or advice about completing a job at the big box stores in town. I can't count the times I have asked about a product & quickly became frustrated when the store employee grabbed it & began reading the label to me (sigh). Go see the experts at Porter Ace Hardware! Super pleased with a color match for a paint project. The entire team took an interest in my project, but Taylor was the absolute BEST ~ she personally saw to it that we nailed the exact color i needed. It took some trial and error but mixing paint is not easy. I'm grateful she was so patient with me til I was satisfied. Thanks!
