RH Fitch installed 52 Marvin windows and 2 La Cantina doors on my new construction home 14 years ago (2009). Time has gone by and I can say that they did an excellent job on all of the windows. No leaks, no installation problems. Very happy with their work. But, I can not say the same for the bi fold door installation. After 14 years I recently noticed discoloring of the wood on the door interior near the bottoms. After inspecting them I found all six doors have absorbed water and have wood rot. According to the manufacturer, La Cantina doors, this wood rot was caused by the incorrect installation of the plastic U channel in the groove of the aluminum sill because the weep holes in both were not aligned properly. Thus no rain water could escape the sill groove. That water was absorbed
