I searched for months for the right desk to fit my office, but couldn't find just the right thing. I reached out to Mark at Red Miter & he came out to measure the space, review my specs, and help me select wood, stain, and hardware to make the perfect desk! Pricing was very reasonable - even a couple hundred dollars lower than my next-best non-custom, non-local alternative. Bonus: he is local & willing to correct any problems that come with age & use. I'm so happy I chose Red Miter to build my perfect desk.

We ordered a custom shelving unit from Mark. I sent him a photo of the shape and style I wanted and my dimensions. He ran me through all the possible material build options and price points. The next step was to meet in person to look at wood choices. We decided to use walnut for this project and it came out wonderful. The final piece is incredibly well built and sturdy. Before working with Mark I browsed at all the local stores and many in Portland. Everything I saw was a compromise of shape, style and none were built as heavy duty. My entire experience was with Mark was outstanding and we love our new shelving!

I ordered a custom vanity desk from Mark. He built, crated and delivered a beautiful piece of furniture and my wife absolutely loves it. We were in communication the entire time with updates and humidity measurements from the room the desk was going to be placed. The trunk Mark and his brother Dave made is not only beautiful but has so many uses in our home. I'm absolutely in love with the final product! You can tell they took time on all the pieces, making sure there were no sharp edges or slivers that can catch on clothing or skin. I shared some pictures in the album!
