Very disappointed with this company. Despite the good reviews, I would never recommend them. I changed my working A/C this summer only to be left without central air on the hottest weekend. That is when my nightmare begins. Rockland Electrical came to my home because Clarkstown Heating and AC told me that my ancient Electrical panel needed to be updated. Fine, I understand that sometimes this is necessary, but although CLARKSTOWN HEATING came to my house 3x to ensure that all was good for my AC installation. 3 Days of work on the final hour the electricians came in a couldn't hook up the power to my new unit. Today I had Rockland Electric out to my house for my third job. The first job was an installation of an EV Charger and the second was for electrical work for a mini-split system. The guys did great work. They were on time, professional and did great work. The pricing was fair and completely transparent. Today's work was an emergency call. Half my house lost power. I called up and explained the situation and that I was also without heat because I had no power to turn on the boiler. John was very sympathetic but explained that he was sorry but they were completely booked already with other emergency work. They simply did not have anyone to send. I have contacted Rockland Electric install a wall charger for EV (TESLA) vehicle in Fall of 2020. They are not on TESLA certified list of electricians but they were recommended by my neighbor who had used their service to install the EV charger. They know how to deal with EV charging installation. They have used all high-end US made parts. John has provided exact quote and their price was competitive. On installation day, they were professional, prompt and gave us options on how to run the wires to from the electrical box to the location of the charger. They have spackle the wall and clean the area after their work. I was really pleased with the service. I would definitely recommend them.
