Sears Appliance Repair

Initially tech stated it was an issue with door lock motor. Motor was ordered and 2nd visit was scheduled. Part was WAY OVERPRICED. Part was less than $50 when I searched it up on Google. It cost approximately $550 for the Part and the time to replace( took approximately 10 minutes to replace).After replacing the Motor, the tech said it's not the Motor, it's the control board. He stated it'd be an additional $450 dollars. So it would've cost over $1000 for repairs on the oven. COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS. I COULD'VE GOT A BRAND NEW OVEN. The control board was approximately $110 when I looked it up online. I declined the additional part and told him I didn't want the Motor either. He took it back off and said he'd issue a refund. Tadd knew what was wrong immediately and after parts were received he fixed our dishwasher fast! He explained everything he was doing and gave us pointers on avoiding problems in the future. He was very careful not to make a mess. He dealt competently with the company on the phone when a payment problem arose. I would love to have him back anytime I need any repairs! Thank you for a job well done!!!

Totally "AWESOME". On time, called before he came, and repaired to Oven. Very Professional, Knowledgeable, and Pleasant. A real asset to Sears.

You made me give you 1star to post I DIDNT WANT TO! I think it’s a scam $150 Total to have someone come to your house and quote you a couple to three hundred more than the unit cost new I wonder if just showing up and high quoting is more profitable over the coarse of the day than actually being fair priced and doing the work Need not reply already know your truth I would try hard work and honesty if your actually trying to make a come back in business You just lost mine bye! Ps. You ask below what work I had done? only work here was a was opening my front door and taking my money that option was not there✔️
