5 Years ago when I had a contract with a fuel company, that I had been with 7 years, I ran out of oil (obviously on a snowy very cold day, but that's what I get for procrastination). I called the company figuring they could come out that day or the next day to give me oil. They told me it wouldn't be for 3 days. I called Silfies Fuel. Larry answered the phone and I had oil in my tank that night. He didn't know me at all, yet took care of my need. Customer service like that is hard to come by. I have been with him ever since and will always be as long as I still have the need for oil. His price is very competitive but even if it wasn't, I will always remember how he helped my family out in our time of need and I can't put a price on that. He cares about people. My friend has used him for years. We had the worst customer service experiences recently with Apgar yet when Apgar said it was too difficult to deliver Silfies came right over and had no problem getting in or out my driveway. He has a new customer. I recommend him highly.

Larry Silfies is a true gentleman. I have been dealing with him for many years and have always been treated very well. I also like dealing with a local business.
