Sue Bee's Cleaning

Sue Bee's crew has been cleaning my house for many years. They are prompt, reliable, reasonably priced and do a good job. I have recommended them to family and friends.

Sue's team cleaned my home for at least 2 years before I left Lawrence a few months ago. I have had several different cleaners in the past, and this was by far the consistently best experience I have had. They did an excellent job cleaning, were always courteous, and were flexible when I needed to make changes in the schedule. Sue herself was always professional and pleasant. The price was clearly quoted and never changed. Her rates are quite reasonable and on par with other services in Lawrence. I think there may be some confusion about rates in other reviews here. When 2 cleaners work together, they each get the hourly rate of $30, but they finish in half the time. So the total charge is the same as it would be if one person had worked. Sue Bee has been cleaning our house for a long time and we are very happy with their work. They are friendly and flexible and do a great job. They are a local business, not a franchise. And, to make a good thing better, a few years ago, Sue switched over to environmentally friendly stuff that is good for people as well as the environment.

I had the same experience most people who reviewed on here. Unprofessional business owner. Came to my house, gave us a price. Cleaned once and realized she under bid the job. Instead of negotiating, she said "it's not going to work" No problem - I'll take my money elsewhere.

We had the WORSE service ever imaginable. The cleaner went as far as CURSING at us over the phone. That is NOT how you run your business. She told me on the phone BEFORE coming to clean and WHEN she got to our apartment that it was $30 an HOUR and then when she left she told us it was $30 a person and they didn't even really clean. They did our bathrooms that we could have done ourselves and said they would come back tomorrow and finish the rest and when we called and told them we will pay you but we can take care of the rest our selves she told us to keep our ****** money. It was very disrespectful and we are not very satisfied. For someone to curse at you who is supposed to be running a business..... not much of a business if you ask me.
