My landlord sent this company out to look at a brand new unit that was just installed. I asked to verify the units were working properly as the system wasn’t cooling properly. That is all I authorized. I get my bill back from the landlord for reimbursement and there is all these items on there saying they changed the filters and such, which they didn’t do, as my other A/C company was there the next day and changed them. The guy was telling me the system needed to be test balanced and all this other stuff which sounded good, until my GC said that it was just done as it has to be done for occupancy. This company is obviously overcharging for work not completed since they are working for landlords and the tenants have to blindly pay the invoices.
