The Big Splash, Inc.

We've been working with the company since this summer to upgrade our pool (new liner, plumbing, installation of lights, new steps, loop loc cover). Several other companies either blew us off or took several days to return phone calls. We've had a great experience with everyone at Big Splash (specifically Nick and Melissa who I've spent the most time talking to). Our liner was on back order for a couple of months and there were a few bumps along the road (not caused by Big Splash) but all of the staff were great at keeping us updated, returning phone calls/emails, and overall have been friendly, courteous, and professional. We plan to work with this company in the near future for additional upgrades and will definitely recommend them to our friends!

Decided to go elsewhere. When we moved into our house the previous owners recommended that we use the same pool company so we did. Big Splash closed our pool (put the cover and blew out the lines). the service was ok but we decided to give them another shot. Earlier this week the had someone come to our house to open the pool even without call to do so (they claim they email you). when they arrived they set everything up and broke the sight glass on my pump then proceeded to dump the chemicals in the pool. No one called or mentioned this to me until I noticed it and then they came to repair it. the following day they proceeded to put chemicals in the pool and the filter was set up incorrectly by them (had another company look at it). What they recommended is that I pay them for a new filt

I will never use this company again. Giving them one star pains me, they don't deserve one star. The office staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. They mock you if you ask questions regarding your pool and they do not return phone calls. They also bill you for services that they did not complete. I have used this company for many years for opening and closing my pool and also purchased all my chemicals from this company. I also used them years ago to redo plumbing in the pool. I was very happy with their services originally but I believe they are under new management and they ran the company into the ground. Amy (was surprised her name wasn't Karen) in the office couldn't be ruder and more incompetent. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

We bought a salt system from them. They put the system in and were supposed to come back and check it a day later ,shock it and as the technician told my husband, power vacuum it and get it ready for the salt. They made me wait all day until 9pm one day then never showed, although I was told on repeated calls they were coming. Then I was told they were not going to vacuum the pool unless they charged us an extra fee because that was not part of the opening. I explained that it was part of setting up the equipment. Melissa, told me that she would have the Technician call me directly. Three days later, He still has not called me and when I call them I get a machine. My pool had been losing water so Big Splash sent over Matty O'Brien and Nick Tavino, two of the nicest fellows, I ever met! They methodically went around the pool with a sound machine, found the leaks and patched them. They also worked on the pool pump and reset the filter timer. They were respectful and professional and very fun to work with. I highly recommend them!
