Walmart Supercenter

I saw that Walmart had there heart cakes out for the season (Valnlenties Day) and I wanted to get one for my birthday since its on Feb 2. So I went to order my cake for my birthday. Let me tell you, the girl that toke my order and made my cake (same girl) I didnt get her name but she haves red hair, OMG girl, you did an AMAZING job on my cake and it tastes so good!!! Like you are going places!!! This really made my day and I hope your boss shows you this review!!! I hope I get you making any cakes I order!!! They had Everything we needed and then some! We came in for some coffee and creamer and ended up leaving with a incredible wax burner, wax cubes, A Crayola Ultimate Light Board with Markers (a present for my niece) and they actually had my shoe inserts for work and my color hair dye, also some cleaning supplies and of course a case of water...It Truly Is One Stop Shopping!! The only complaint I have about our current walmart trip was the check out the lines were incredibly long and over half there registers were down. It took a bit to get through the self check out , they could hire more cashiers but aside from check out it was a good Wally World Trip!

I don't really like going here. But I have to admit it is the most affordable place for groceries right now. Which are through the roof I see the workers working really hard stocking everything and trying to keep things clean and in order I wish they would have more cashiers. But it is what it is. They have everything I need for myself and my dog. But it sure would be nice to see the Valparaiso Police catch those people that have figured out a way to scam The self check out. Speaking of which I don't mind checking myself out.I get to double check everything and bag.Everything in the way.I like.I don't buy that much at 1 time.Anyway so it's not that big of a deal and it's just very convenient. In any time I've interacted with any of the store employees.They've all been really polite Profe

The store is clean and decently stocked but the people filling carts for online orders are a menace! It’s getting worse every time I visit! They block isles, refuse to get out of people’s way I spent at least 100.00 less than I would have if I COULD GET TO THE ITEMS! There needs to be hours where they just let people shop without them blocking the entire store!

The Portage, IN Walmart, in my opinion, is one of the better Walmart Stores. Most of the staff, I've encountered, has been helpful and courteous. The self checkout employees are very helpful. Employees are always present and available. No store that size can be perfect. But, I have visited most Walmarts in NWI and Portage, IN ranks in the top Three.
