Paid $379 for a gas fireplace inspection and cleaning. Opened the screen after they left and found this. There shouldn’t be such simple things missed if you’re charging someone $379 for a cleaning. I paid an extra $130 for them to fix a broken part in the fireplace which I think is extremely reasonable. So I’m just shocked at the price for the “cleaning”. They also didn’t clean the flue, just the logs. So you’re essentially paying $379 for an inspection and a light cleaning of your logs. So $510+ later and I had to end up vacuuming the rest out myself. I emailed the company with my concerns and was ignored. The techs were nice but I’m disappointed in the customer service with the office staff.

Can’t recommend Chesapeake Chimney enough. Easy scheduling and reasonable pricing for a pellet stove inspection and cleaning. Great communication with the office, and great experience with the technician. Jonathan did our cleaning and inspection and was punctual, very informative, and clean. We will definitely be using them again.

0/5 stars isn’t an option so I had to choose 1. This company cancelled on me 3 times in a row. Their response was that this is a busy time of year, which I understand. But I made my appointment a month ago. A day before that appointment, they called to tell me they need to reschedule for a week later. The day before that appointment, the same thing. The 3rd appointment, my window time was between 12-3. At 115pm during my time slot, they called me saying they would have to reschedule for 2 weeks after that. Do not recommend

Absolutely fantastic service every single visit since 2003 ! We’ve been a customer for 23 years & staying on their schedule! Cameron is amazing. Office staff is outstanding. I’d give more stars if I could 🩷

Service was great! Jon was prompt and very professional. He took the time to provide an honest/candid assessment of the chimney in our wood-burning fireplace and fully explained what was observed. Very positive experience start to finish.
