Where to start, if I could I give 10 STARS!!! From first contact to end product in the team at HSC Associates Heating & AC impressed me. So let me give a very long story here for you to understand. A building was bought, had a old radiant floor system that was not properly installed I will add a photo of that mess. But since we had other plans for the money and the system kind of heated the building, so we were gonna make it work, and then it happened. The boiler went down, brought in a service company and they right off the bat said can't/ wont touch it.. huh, what! .. So it seems parts are far and few between for the band. I've had the same experience as some of these other people. I was a customer for 10 years and spent close to $30k. First they rescheduled me twice without communicating it. When I called to ask about it, the guy hung up on me. And didn't answer when I called back. Then I found that I was charged $250 for a filter that costs less than half that much online. Since I never wanted this filter in the first place (I wanted a more permanent solution) but agreed to it as an "experiment" I thought they'd tell me if it was going to be that expensive. I asked the guy on the phone if they could have at least charged me the actual cost of this filter and he claimed that they themselves paid $250 for it. I don't find this believable. 12/2025- Follow up: I did need a new furnace recently and I bought a Lennox 97% efficiency 2 stage gas furnace from another distributor/service company. If HSC was more customer focused and courteous, they would have received that purchase I made. I have been dealing with HSC for 15 years. I bought an A/C system from them and had them run new gas lines when needed and have been calling them for annual service for furnace and A/C. Today I called to ask about their billing for parts and labor for annual service that they did a couple of weeks ago. The person on the phone could not tell me how they bill. When I asked to speak to someone who could tell me, he hung up on me. When I called back he hung up on me again. When I called back again, the manager answered and gave me an argument for b

I've had a similar experience to some recent reviews. Over the years they put in two furnaces and central air. But my recent interaction with them by phone showed this is a different company now. I'm going with another company.

After being a customer for 12 years, since our move to Ithaca and after having them install our air conditioning system and service our heat and a/c systems I was treated with total disdain and disrespect. They did not clean and service our boiler properly last year, we had a high-pitched whistle which we only noticed in November when we turned the heat on. We called them. They fixed it and said it was their fault. We got a bill. We called and they said to disregard it, their error... so this year, when we called them, they said they would not service our units unless we paid in advance as we had an outstanding bill!
