Johnson Controls Richmond Branch Office

Ever since Richmond Alarm sold to Johnson Controls, we have had one problem after another. Alarm signals a call and it takes 10 minutes for someone at the monitoring center to answer. This morning, they called while we were all at work to leave a vm saying there was a "undefined Signal" and have a great day. Then, they dispatched a cop which creates a fine. Our of dozens of vendor/service providers at our 40 year old company, this is our worst vendor.

Workers block sidewalks with work truck, causing safety issues and blocking wheelchairs, strollers, and other pedestrians. Sidewalks are engineered for people and when heavy trucks park on them, they cause unnecessary strain that contributes to advanced wear and tear. How much damage has Johnson Controls caused by allowing this? Please find an actual parking spot (like the one in front of the truck) or get a permit to reserve parking.

ABSOLUTELY HORRID!!!! I was a customer of Richmond Alarm Company which was then bought out by Johnson Control. When I sold my house last year, it took me months worth of phone calls to them trying get my service cancelled. Every time I would call, a foreign call service with broken English would answer and then proceed to put me on hold till I would finally hang up after 2 hours of being on hold. This happened multiple times. I then began receiving collection notices and phone calls. I would tell the people who called that I had been trying to cut off my service. I would then be placed on hold till again I would hang up after an hour or 2 of waiting. When I FINALLY got someone on the phone who could turn off my service, they then charged me an additional month for a “30 day notice

NO stars if I could. Canceling with them ASAP. After they bought out Richmond Alarm they ruined the company. They raised monitoring fees. They farmed out their customer service to a foreign call center staffed by poor speakers of English; nice folk but impossible to understand. They call monthly to remind me to pay my invoices that I auto-pay. I block them now. Clearly, they do not care about small residential accounts. Ring, anyone? Nest? Not. Another. Cent. Thanks for ruining a nice, locally owned company.

I was a richmond alarm customer for nearly 40 years then discovering they've been sold to this company I was on the fence about canceling service since I have other security systems at my residence. I have called 8 times in the last 3 months to cancel service and have been told the service is canceled. I am now receiving collections notices about paying my full bill which I will not do. They've indicated that they would send an invoice for 30 days of service but I've never received an invoice for. I just spoke with an employee with a foreign accent who was extremely short with me on the phone and hung up on me at the conclusion of my call without anything not even a "good bye". I own 5 businesses and I hope that management reads this and realizes that your investment in Richmond alarm
