Meanwhile, I checked with the builder as the home is just gone eight years in age and found that the roof is still under warranty and so they made permanent repairs under the terms of the warranty. I found Powers Roof Service while looking through all of the roofer reviews on Yelp. They consistently had 5 star reviews where customers raved about their service and value. After we found a small leak, I contacted them in June and scheduled an appointment to receive an estimate. The person that came out was extremely professional, explained that he needed to inspect the roof and would take lots of pictures to go over what he found. I could hear him walking around and removing and replacing tiles for nearly an hour, after which he came back and showed me all of the pictures of how dirty our "valleys" were on our roof where the roof lines come together to form a valley for the water to run down to the gutters.
