SiteOne Landscape Supply

I went to SiteOne as they were recommended by a contractor friend of mine. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed. From the ordering over the phone based on online availability to pick-up the product; I was disappointed in the service provided. When ordering over the phone, the member became argumentative with me. As someone not in the field of landscaping, he showed little patience while I navigated the process. When I arrived on site a couple days later to retrieve the product; the member at the desk was less than helpful in getting me the product. She provided extremely vague guidance as to where to retrieve my items. I spent over 45 minutes wondering the property, with multiple employees out and about unwilling to help me also. Was looking for a Japanese Maple and SiteOne had orangeola cutleaf japanese maples listed for $140.48 on their sign for the trees. I proceeded to attempt to purchase one, but it rang up $264. The cashier went out with me to the trees and took the price tag off the sign saying they needed to change that but would honor it for this one. When she went to get the manager for the override he refused to honor the price on the sign and said “best I can do is $200”. I asked if the prices on the other trees were correct and he said “all the prices are correct”. I asked if these trees were the only ones priced incorrectly and he said “yupp, all the rest are right.’ Had you honored the prices you advertise, you would have earned a customer as I’m landscaping an entire property. Hard to do business

One of the most frustrating things is going to a store with hours online, store hours at the store and they close 2 hours early. Wasted literally 2 hours on a very tight day.

Absolutely insane!!! One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I called 30 mins before close to get a price on some pavers. I was placed on hold for ABOUT 50 MINUTES before Dan was able to assist. As soon as he did I asked what the price was for a "Nicolock Chesapeake Blend" pavers. He informed me that that was the brand and color but not the paver. I asked him to give me a minute while i got the paver model as I really needed the price for these pavers TODAY. I wasn't away for more than a minute before i came back to the call and i realized he walked away from the phone. I spent another 10 mins waiting for someone to return only for me to either get disconnected or hung up on. Tried calling back but their phone sends me straight to voicemail because they are closed.

Ordered a few items from this location. Customer service differed each visit. The grounds are vast and inventory if not available will be ordered on your behalf. Establishment is geared for volume and clientele that know what they want. Good place to get your landscape supplies.
